HISTORY

First flew in February 1962 as PH-FDL before being delivered to Nippon Airways as JA8606. Subsequently it served with Pelita Air Services as PK-PFS, converted to a -600P before being moved to Seulawah Air Services in April 1977. March 1978 saw its return to Pelita before moving on again to Touraine Air Transport as F-GBDK in August 1979 and a brief spell with Uni-Air Rouergue. Air UK was the next owner when it took charge and registered this aircraft G-BHMY on 6th May 1980. The Friendship was moved to the museum on 10th August 2000 shortly after the Norwich International Diamond Jubilee Airshow.
