We have many other displays including coverage of Norfolk Airfields of World War One Showing the Royal Naval Air Station as Great Yarmouth to Norwich’s first aerodrome at Mousehold. Exhibits from 68 Squadron, a mainly Czechoslovakian squadron that flew from RAF Coltishall between 1942 and 1944. Sections dedicated to Fighter Command, Bomber Command and Coastal Command contain many pictures and effects to help tell their story. Our American section shows details of the US 8th Army Air Force, 2nd Air Division and the 458th Bomb Group that was based at RAF Horsham St Faith during the latter part of the war. Other displays include sections relating to RAF Coltishall, RAF Marham, Flying Clothing, our Vulcan Bomber XM612 and many more. |
